Bayou City Breastfeeding — Magnolia serves families in Magnolia, The Woodlands, Tomball, Spring, and the greater North Houston area. We are a team of International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) providing expert infant feeding support — from straightforward breastfeeding help to complex cases that haven’t resolved elsewhere. Founded in 2016, we’re one of the largest IBCLC group practices in Texas.

Our experience and approach

Our IBCLCs bring deep clinical training and years of specialized experience in infant feeding. We take a comprehensive, evidence-based approach: we assess the full picture — oral function, latch mechanics, milk transfer, weight gain, maternal factors, and feeding behavior — rather than addressing symptoms in isolation.

We work closely with pediatricians, pediatric dentists, ENTs, SLPs, bodyworkers, and chiropractors when a case calls for a multidisciplinary approach.

What to expect

Your first visit is a full evaluation — typically 60 to 90 minutes — with a written care plan you can share with your pediatrician. We don’t treat feeding support as a one-time appointment: we continue following families over weeks, months, and sometimes years as feeding needs evolve through bottle introduction, solids, and weaning.
