Edie Hines MSP/CCC-SLP

Edie Hines, MSP/CCC-SLP is an experienced pediatric feeding specialist with over 22 years of clinical expertise supporting children from NICU discharge through age 10, with additional experience treating older children on a case-by-case basis. Her background includes 13 years in a pediatric outpatient hospital setting, as well as significant work in home health, private practice, and the public school system. While serving in the schools for over nine years, Edie developed and implemented a district-wide feeding protocol and functioned as the district’s lead feeding specialist.

She is currently employed at The Therapy Place, a nonprofit outpatient clinic in Columbia, South Carolina, that serves children with special needs and their families. Edie is deeply committed to supporting children with pediatric feeding disorders, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), developmental delays, childhood apraxia of speech, traumatic brain injury, and pediatric dysphagia. Her work is grounded in a family-centered approach and emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration to achieve meaningful outcomes. She frequently collaborates with specialists, family members, and other therapists enhance progress and currently works in a multidisciplinary pediatric clinic.
