Everbloom Therapy PLLC: Melissa Cober, MA CCC-SLP, founder of Everbloom Therapy PLLC, is a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist and feeding therapist specializing in pediatric feeding therapy. Services include feeding evaluation and treatment using a holistic and family-centered approach. We provide services in-person on Whidbey Island and via telehealth for children in the state of Washington.

Training/Certifications: Melissa has training in Sensory Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, Responsive Feeding, Foundational Promoting First Relationships (PFR), Pediatric Modified Barium Swallow Studies, has her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and is Certified in Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Washington.

 Common Feeding Challenges We See:

-Children 8 months old and older transitioning from breast and bottle feeding to eating solids

-Challenging or stressful mealtimes

-Picky eaters

-Chewing difficulties

-Children with feeding tubes (NG/G-tubes)

-Common diagnoses that can impact feeding: Autism, Anxiety, Down syndrome, ARFID, Oral Aversion, Slow, Failure to thrive

-Poor weight gain

-Limited variety of foods accepted

-Signs of choking, gagging or vomiting with foods or liquids

-Sensory sensitivities with food

-Small volume of food accepted during mealtimes
