Growing Families Consulting with Heather Kleinhans, is dedicated to supporting families in the Central Valley of California. She specializes in lactation and infant-toddler feeding support and services, advanced tethered oral tissues specialty support and services for pre/post-release of oral ties, advanced baby led weaning and adaptive baby led weaning and oral motor skill support specialty services, faith-driven, evidence-based childbirth education, doula support with advanced NICU training, and babywearing education and consultation services for families in Tulare, Kings, Fresno and Madera Counties. Her tailored offerings include educational classes, interactive workshops, and comprehensive. personalized support services for parents with growing families, focusing on supporting and nurturing the foundational years of their journey together. Growing Families Consulting is proudly, a trauma-informed, neurodivergence and disability affirming provider.

An Arizona State University alumna, Heather has a background of working in pediatric speech, language, oral motor/myofunctional, and feeding therapy for 15+ years. As an IBCLC, Feeding Specialist, NICU Doula, Childbirth Educator and Babywearing Consultant, she currently dedicates her time to supporting new and growing families with lactation and feeding needs, babywearing support, NICU doula education and support, as well as volunteering as an Advocate, Support Group Facilitator and Power of Two Parent Coach with Feeding Matters and with Valley Children’s Hospital’s NICU.
As a mother of two, she brings both professional and lived experience, having navigated pediatric feeding challenges with her own children and managing her own feeding-related medical conditions. She is dedicated to creating a safe, understanding space where caregivers can connect, feel supported and gain confidence as they support their children’s feeding journeys.
