Feeding Clinic Overview
Mealtimes should be a chance to connect, not a source of stress. At our feeding clinic, we help families create positive experiences around food. Whether your child struggles with picky eating, difficulty chewing or swallowing, or stress at the table, we are here to guide you. Our goal is to reduce frustration and build confidence—for both you and your child.
We believe in collaboration. You know your child best, and our team brings specialized training to support their unique needs. Together, we work toward progress that feels achievable, meaningful, and lasting.
Our staff includes highly trained occupational therapists (OTs) and speech-language pathologists (SLPs). Each plays an important role in helping children succeed at mealtimes.
Speech Feeding Therapy
Our SLPs are experts in the structure and function of the mouth, throat, and larynx. They focus on building the motor skills children need to eat and drink safely. Therapy may include practicing chewing, coordinating swallowing, or strengthening oral muscles. By developing these skills, children gain the ability to feed themselves more effectively and with greater independence.
Occupational Feeding Therapy
Our OTs look at the bigger picture of mealtimes. They understand how the nervous system, sensory processing, and emotions all affect feeding. Many children experience stress or overwhelm with new foods or textures. OTs use creative, playful approaches to help children feel comfortable and confident while eating. Their work supports sensory regulation, emotional regulation, and enjoyable participation in family meals.
Empowering Families
We know every child and every family is different. That’s why we create individualized therapy plans to meet your child where they are. Our mission is to empower your family to thrive, not just get through another mealtime. With support, patience, and the right tools, progress is possible.
