About
Providing ICU families with Highly Specialized Care after discharge
to optimize their infant’s development!
This multi-state practice is staffed by SLPs and OTs who have an advanced Certificate as Neonatal Therapists (CNT) who all have extensive skills and training in infant feeding and overall development. They provide in-office (Garden City, New York) and multi-state virtual feeding therapy to address difficulties with bottle-feeding, breastfeeding, and transitioning to solid foods and cups/straws. Speciality services such as lactation support and infant massage are also available in some states. Their services cater to both medically complex infants, such as those discharged from the NICU, PICU or CVICU, and those with less significant medical backgrounds, with a focus on developmentally appropriate learning and parent education/support.
Our mission involves fostering the feeding skills, growth and well-being of infants by leveraging the important infant-family relationship. Knowledge is empowering, and every parent should feel equipped to provide the best possible care for their infant’s needs.
We have two main goals: First, to ensure that every feeding is safe, functional, nurturing, developmentally appropriate, and tailored to the infant’s specific needs. We follow an infant-driven / cue-based approach, honoring each infant’s unique communication and boundaries; protecting their developing brains and striving for the best possible outcomes. Second, to ensure that every parent/family/caregiver feels confident, competent and empowered to be the lead member of their infant’s care team.
