About

Intuitive Therapy Solutions is a virtual pediatric occupational therapy practice specializing in nervous-system-informed feeding therapy and parent coaching for children ages 0–7 across Canada.

Led by Stephanie Forseth, Registered Occupational Therapist and pediatric feeding specialist, ITS uses The Regulated Tableβ„’ Framework β€” a proprietary clinical approach that identifies the root driver of a child’s feeding difficulty before determining how to help. Rather than organizing care around diagnostic labels, the framework maps each child’s presentation to one of five root-cause driver profiles: nervous system dysregulation, sensory processing differences, oral motor skill gaps, a need for predictability and sameness, or the mealtime environment itself.

Treatment begins with safety and nervous system regulation β€” because a child cannot build food acceptance until their body feels safe enough to engage. Every session includes parent coaching, because the changes that matter most happen between sessions, not during them.

ITS supports families navigating:

  • Pediatric Feeding Disorder (PFD)
  • ARFID with sensory or regulatory drivers
  • Sensory-based food refusal and extreme food selectivity
  • Fewer than 20 accepted foods or a narrowing food repertoire
  • Mealtime meltdowns, gagging, or vomiting
  • Infant feeding difficulties and bottle/breast-to-solids transitions (ages 0–18 months)
  • Feeding aversion following NICU, NGT, or early negative oral experiences
  • Autism, ADHD, or sensory differences with feeding restriction
  • Caregiver exhaustion and family system distress around mealtimes

ITS does not provide swallowing assessment, dysphagia treatment, nutritional counselling, or diagnostic assessment. Co-treatment with SLP, RD, PT, Psychologist, Chiropractor, and Myofunctional Therapist is welcomed.

No physician referral form required. Alberta FSCD-funded clients welcome.

Families across Canada are supported virtually β€” at the table, in the kitchen, in real daily life.
