RON JOYCE CHILDREN’S HEALTH CENTRE – MCMASTER UNIVERSITY CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

Through EFCT (Eating and Feeding Consult Team) we offer consults to other clinicians in the form of case conferences and direct consults for patients and families. An observation room with one-way windows for “arena-type” assessment is available in order not to overwhelm the child and family. We also offer Telehealth consults through OTN (Ontario Telehealth Network) that allow observations in the home environment. A local GI team (FAST – Feeding and Swallowing Team) at the Children’s Hospital is available for swallowing assessments.
