SMART Pediatric Therapy is a sensory-based outpatient occupational therapy facility that specializes in sensory processing disorder (SPD). We have several therapists trained in feeding therapy approaches including, but not limited to: Marsha Dunn Klein’s “Get Permission Approach” and “Supporting Anxious Eaters and Their Families;” Dr. Kay Toomey’s “S.O.S. Approach to Feeding;” and Nina Ayd Johanson’s “AEIOU: An Integrated Approach to Pediatric Feeding,” to name a few. We are well-suited for feeding therapy since we address the underlying sensory processing differences that often co-exist with anxious and extremely picky eaters.
