About

Our Pediatric Feeding Team offers diagnostic and therapeutic services to evaluate and manage feeding and swallowing difficulties in children from infancy through their teens. Our multi-disciplinary team works with families to address all aspects of the child’s feeding including: posture and positioning, muscle tone/oral motor development, swallowing patterns, meal time behaviors, food preferences, nutritional intake and growth, self -feeding skills, and sensory needs and responses. Home and school programming are critical aspects of our program. As needed we provide follow up visits, administer Videoflouroscopic Swallow Studies (VFSS) in coordination with our radiology physicians, and consult in the Special Care and newborn nurseries. Clinicians on our team have taken part in the SOS Approach training, Anxiety trainings, and IBCLC certification.
