About
At TEAM 4 Kids, we specialize in pediatric feeding therapy and infant feeding support, helping babies, toddlers, and children develop the skills they need to eat safely, comfortably, and confidently. We serve families across the West Valley and beyond, with five convenient locations in Surprise, Lake Pleasant, Avondale, Thunderbird, and Renton, WA.
What We Treat
We work with children experiencing a wide range of feeding challenges, including:
- Difficulty latching or breastfeeding
- Poor weight gain or feeding aversions
- Oral motor delays and chewing difficulties
- Trouble transitioning to purées or solid foods
- Sensory-based food refusal or picky eating
- Gagging, vomiting, or coughing during meals
- Infant reflux and bottle feeding struggles
If mealtimes feel stressful or your child isn’t meeting feeding milestones, we’re here to help.
Our Approach
Our feeding therapists use a variety of evidence-based techniques, including Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS), the TREAT Method, and Sensory Motor approaches. Every child starts with a thorough evaluation, and from there, we build a fully individualized treatment plan tailored to their specific needs and goals.
We also offer lactation consulting for families navigating breastfeeding challenges, from latch issues and nipple pain to engorgement and low supply.
What to Expect
After your child’s initial evaluation, you’ll receive a written report of our findings along with their treatment plan. Progress reports are provided every three months, so you always know how your child is moving forward.
We offer both individual and group feeding therapy sessions. Individual sessions focus on gradually introducing new foods by exploring how they look, smell, feel, and taste. Group sessions include 5 foods across different categories, giving kids the chance to practice alongside same-aged peers in a fun, low-pressure setting.
After every session, your therapist will send you home with strategies and techniques to practice in between appointments so progress carries over into your daily routine.
What Sets Us Apart
We accept all insurance plans and are committed to making sure finances don’t stand in the way of getting your child the support they need. Not sure if therapy is right for your child? We offer free screenings so you can get answers before committing to a full evaluation.
Our clinics are open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and our Patient Care Coordinators are always happy to answer questions and help get you scheduled. Give us a call at 623-322-8250.
At T4K, we know that feeding challenges affect the whole family. Our goal is to make mealtimes less stressful and help your child thrive, one bite at a time.
