The New Years is a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy clinic in Richmond Hill, Ontario, dedicated to supporting children and families through the earliest years of life (0-5 years). We bring together pediatric specialistsā€” including occupational therapists, international board certified lactation consultants, pediatric dentists, and other allied professionalsā€” to offer family-centred, evidence-informed care tailored to each childā€™s unique developmental path. Using a wholistic approach to address developmental milestones, feeding and oral-motor concerns, and sensory processing challenges, we provide developmental and behavioural guidance, along with parent education, so thatĀ  families feel confident, understood, and empowered at every stage. Our collaborative model ensures connected expertise under one roof, so families donā€™t have to navigate early childhood challenges alone.

From first feeds to the first day of school, weā€™re here to support you every step of the wayā€” with compassion, clarity, collaboration, and continuity.

  • Oral Restrictions Journey
    • Collaborative Functional Evaluation evaluation, diagnosis, treatment & release (if warranted) with release provider, lactation and therapy for (pre/post frenectomy)
  • Feeding Foundations:
    • First Feeds (0-5 months)
    • Starting Solids (6-12 months)
    • Toddler Table (1-5 years)
  • Strong Starts: Sensory & Motor Milestones:
    • Baby (0-12 months)
    • Toddler (1-3 years)
    • Child (4-5 years)
