The Pediatric Feeding Institute of South Florida

The Pediatric Feeding Institute of South Florida (PFISF) opened its doors in January 2019 as the only private practice in South Florida and surrounding areas whose sole focus is the evaluation and treatment of infants, children, and adolescents with various feeding and swallowing disorders using sensory, behavioral and oral motor approaches as appropriate. In addition to offering outpatient feeding/swallowing and occupational therapy, we created South Florida’s first and only 8-week intensive feeding therapy day program, originally launched at a local hospital, before becoming independent in 2019. With over 30 years experience, the therapists at The Pediatric Feeding Institute of South Florida are committed to implementing innovative treatment methods and caregiver education to address complex feeding disorders in order ensure positive outcomes that not only generalize to the natural environment, but are are long lasting.
